I would absolutely reccomend Pestana Rua Augusta Hotel! We stayed there for a week in March and we could not complain about anything. The hotel is located in a central area. We thought that it might get noisy because of that, but it wasn't, maybe because our room was located on the top floor. The rooms are on the small side, but beatifully decorated, cosy and clean. There is a coffee machine in the room, the beds are incredibly comfortable, the bathroom has all the amenities (even hair conditioner, yay!). The staff is extremely friendly and helpful. Breakfast is not included in the room price, but there is a restaurat next to the hotel which offers delicios breakfast options. You dont even have to walk out the hotel door, the restaurant entrance is next to the reception area. There are also lots of pastry shops and cafeterias nearby when you can have breakfast.

The breakfast was delightful, and whether interacting with the staff in the breakfast corner or at the reception, everyone was exceptionally welcoming. I had an amazing time during my visit. The room is clean and the location is truly outstanding; a mere turn around the corner leads you to the mesmerising ocean. The street, being an inner one, ensures a quieter atmosphere at night. However, for those who enjoy parties or music, just around the corner offers vibrant options. Overall, I would unquestionably choose to book this hotel again!

The location was absolutely ideal for us, the staff were all exceptionally friendly and helpful, the breakfast was brilliant, our room was lovely, always clean and tidy, and very comfortable. We received some lovely complimentary gifts in our room, and there was fresh water and a coffee maker. We requested a kettle and that was delivered in an instant. And even though we were in a very busy part of the city, the room was quiet and cosy.

Wonderful, friendly staff. The value for money was exceptional. Location was brilliant for morning running - hotel to the Belem Tower along the water and back is c. 15km; perfect!
